Spoooooky surprise cake

Isn't  it adorable!
Tastes yummy too!

It's grey, wet and cold in Baltimore today..
A perfect day to hang out and play in the kitchen.
The house is clean and I've got a killer meatloaf in the oven
~ just wait till you see it..
It is super ugly ...and soooo much fun!
( I'll show you tomorrow)

Back to the cake...  I saw a cake like this on pinterest.
That  awesome person made their cakes from scratch..
Screw that..  to much work and mess for me,  I'll stick with the box mix today.

First thing you do is prepare a loaf pan and preheat the oven according to the box..
Then make the "white" batter.. since you'll be baking a white cake first.

Bake your white cake,  let cool and slice.
While your cake is cooling..  make chocolate cake batter and set aside.

Use a cookie cutter and carefully cut your shapes out of the cake.

Once you've cut the whole cake,
carefully layer your cut out cake inside of a prepared loaf pan

Pour chocolate batter over it and bake ( according to directions)

 Let cool.
Frost cake with yummy cream cheese frosting
.. don't forget to have a party with your sprinkles.

Pour yourself a tall glass of cold milk,
slice open your bootiful cake
and BAM!

enjoy!

Happy Saturday!
