these days shall pass..

It's rainy and very quiet around the spoonful house today.

This past weekend was one of those weekends that you wouldn't wish on one of your worst enemies.
There was another car accident,  broken down vehical and the real kick in the gut,  we were robbed.

It all has taken an emotional beating on us all and
we are all still trying to climb out of it.

My husband is crushed and it breaks my heart.

When you work hard and are good people
This kind of thing shouldn't happen!

The world is so unfair sometimes.

What do we do now?

We learn.
We dream of sunny days on the boat.
We replace.
We give thanks that we are all safe and healthy.

There is no better place to try to get rid of that monday funk then out here on the porch.
Plus,  It's a great place to wait for my dinner pizza delivery that is on it's way.

These days will pass.
Life moves on and better days are coming our way.

Have a great new week friends.

So sad to hear about this trio of events on the weekend, when it rains it pours sometimes, but then it stops, out comes the sun and a hopefully a rainbow. Enjoy your pizza. (((hugs))) xo

What a horrible weekend! I know what it feels like to be robbed, it's been well over 2 years and I'm still not comfortable. I can't imagine taking something that's not mine, don't know how they do it. Please take care:@)

Leslie, hang in there. Although this was devastating, we learn how strong we are. I hope everyone in the accident is okay.

Sending you a big hug.

Oh Leslie I am so sorry to hear of the bad news! I am glad everyone is safe. Items can be replaced (although I agree 100% with your husband's thoughts) but people can't. Many hugs and dream of days on the boat.

Leslie, I somehow missed this post, but I'm glad I went back to catch up. I am so sorry this happened, especially the robbery which is just such a violation. It makes you mad, it makes you sad. Glad everyone is okay, which is the most important thing. And I'm glad you are moving forward... Ann
