Christmas Countdown

25 days of fun!

Christmas countdown

I started out with these
Christmassy gloves and socks
&
adhesive Christmas countdown labels
purchased at Michaels.

Then I spray painted some clothes pins and card board stars.

Of course I had to give the stars a glitter shake down
...  because sparkles make the world a happier place.

I made some cones of paper and a few lunch bag gingerbread men.

There was a trip to the local dollar store for some goodies and little surprises.

We used the clothespins to clip our special countdown to a line made of raffia.

So much fun!

And now we excitedly await the start of the Christmas countdown.

I love it! I usually do an advent fairy gifts for Katelyn but I told her last year was the last and I wish I continued it but even the little stuff is hard to come up with and expensive....plus I'd have to mail the first week to her...basically I couldn't get my shit together and thought it was a good place to end it. Mean I know! Happy Thursday!
