Today's temperature ~ 105'
Kinda makes me want to hang out in my favorite chair all day,
curled up with a good book.
The only thing thing is on my mind today is..
What's for dinner?
I'm thinking BLT's on Texas Toast.
Ummm sounds good.
.
It's not like there aren't more important things to be done..
Like working in the gardens and painting the siding on the house..
Doing laundry, changing bed sheets, vacuuming..
I would rather spend this warm day playing with my seashell Mosaic
and working on this new cross stitch project.
I have no pattern for this .. I am just stitching things that I love and hoping that it all comes together.
Bunting. Our little yellow house. Ginormous daisies.
Maybe I'll even add a rainbow.
blueberry crumb cake and iced tea sounds good too.
Whatever is on the agenda today..
I plan on keeping it simple!
Happy Simple Sunday!
Stay cool.

Oh my goodness, Leslie, 105 sounds quite dreadful! Love the crosstitch! I adore bunting!
I love your cross stitch and mosaic. It's hot here in SC, high humidity. I am relaxing and taking it easy too! Now sipping on a cold banana smoothie!
Happy Sunday! The crumbcake looks delicious and I love the colorful cross stitch. It's 99 here currently - too hot to do much!
Love the mosaic project and your cross stitch. I think it will turn out lovely and be very "you"nique.
Happy sunday darling...love Ria...xxx...
Any day spent playing with seashells is a great day! In the high 90s here. Ugh!
Sounds like a lovely Sunday. You are such a busy bee!

Love your pretty pic of the sunflowers! Cute cross stitch. Yep, it's been a good weekend for taking it easy:@)
LOVE the cross stitch! Try and stay cool as that is an awful temp!
Same temps here over the weekend, and I've not felt like doing anything, except for take a break! :-)
I love simple living! It's the best kind of way to live I think! The photo of your sunflower is just wonderful!
Smiles,Dottie
yes that is one hot day. I am here in Cali, it's hot but don't think it is in the 3 digits...close though. Your shell project looks interesting, so beachy. I too have had a very relaxing simple Sunday at church, even got a nap in, now browsing through these blogs...Oh and of course spending time with my family.. Thanks for sharing. 105! Ugh, that's terrible! Hope you stayed cool!
Lovely. I am so glad to see your wonderful summer cross stitching too!
Sounds like a perfect simple Sunday! I did some laundry and we took a drive to see some waterfalls...in hopes it was cooler, it was but only a little! Happy Monday!
Hi Leslie,
I typed a big long message out for you and now it has disappeared :(
Anyway here goes - maybe a little shorter this time!
Thank you so much for stopping by and following Raindrops and Daisies.
I am following you back!
I hope that you are not too hot
those temps sound really high to me.
I am not used to heat and sunshine as here in Ireland the weather is dreadful at the moment and the wettest since records began in the 1800s!
Hope you have a great week.
Stay cool and don't be a stranger.
x Fiona
Wow, love your cross stitch, you are very talented to be able to do that without a pattern! Hope y'all have cooler temps soon, we're down to the 80s today and loving it, finally! Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting. I'm your newest follower. Hugs ~ Mary
Sounds like a great way to spend a hot day. We have had rain on and off all day here. Just nice little summer showers. I love the mosaic.
Sounds like a lovely day...except for the heat! I would love to do a beautiful shell mosaic like that! :)
When we had that temp here we just stayed in also. Thanks for the well wishes! Feeling better today.
New post coming later.

love sunflowers ... in fact, just overhauled my blog header with pics of sunflowers that I've taken. Gave my blog such a sunny disposition =)
