Tuesday randomess and a give away

I love farm houses and I  have always loved art work by Billy Jacobs
I often see his work in Country Sampler magazine.
His paintings are images of places where I long to be!!

Yesterday I  finally purchased  a few framed prints
I'm so excited...
I can not wait to get them!!

The first is called Autumn Afternoon

And this one is called
A Storm Is Coming

Maybe If I just focus in on these beautiful pictures
then I can block out the sounds of the city
and just chill
~  and enjoy the thoughts of days to come.

We hit the Goodwill yesterday
and here's what I found

Two leaf bowls  $1 each
that I can add to my
(after Halloween)
Autumn table setting.

This little corner shelf was overpriced at $8.00
but I think that it will be perfect for my staircase landing.

Random pretty
I love this corner!!
(from the latest Country Sampler)
It just goes to show that bigger doesn't always mean better!

~Off to the kitchen~

I bought this while at the Amish market
it was buy one get one free.
The Amish called it a Peanut Lovers Mix
I call it a little bag of Heaven.

Since we have so much of it
I thought that the best thing to do was to make

( I just followed a basic peanut butter cookie recipe')

Just feast your eyes on this mess.

I know,
it is totally worth another look....

into the oven
and on to the hips!!!

Trust me ...
This is a peanut butter  dream!

The big 50

I have 50 followers..
I just can't believe that 50 people
( besides those of you outside of the blog world that I force to read me)
are interested in the things that are going on here at the Spoonful
Thank you all so much.
I mean it!!!

I started an AOL journal about 6yrs ago
after my mom passed away.
It was a great way of keeping in touch with family and friends.
To some it was a gift
To some it was a mystery
For me, it was a blessing
an outlet to create, love and let go...
and I've been doing it ever since!

It has been an amazing journey.
I have grown and learned so much from my fabulous blog friends.

A few months ago I purchased a book called
Blogging for Bliss
 by Tare Frey
This book became my blogging bible
I read it cover to cover!

Listed are many tips, techniques, gorgeous blogs
and I want to share it with you!!!

Some of you awesome ladies are even IN the book!

If you are interested in this book just let me know in the comments.
 Whadaya think about Saturday...
Saturday we will draw a name of a lucky winner!!

Good luck!

Time for Darla Lewinsky to get her nails done
I'm thinking...

Have a great Wednesday!
