pies, cupcakes and a 48th Birthday

We sure were busy in the kitchen this weekend.
Today, in honor of Papa Spoonful's 48th birthday
I made him his favorite CheeseBirthdayCake.

Even though the weather was ugly and wouldn't allow us to spend the day as we had hoped
On the beach
It was a great day anyway!

Dinner was simple..
Bacon cheeseburgers,
baked potatos
and
stuffed portabella mushrooms

...and the delicious cheesecake
was the perfect end to a yummy super.

Philadelphia classic cheesecake

What You Need!

1-1/2 cups HONEY MAID Graham Cracker Crumbs
 3 Tbsp. sugar
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
4 pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
 1 cup sugar
 1 tsp. vanilla
 4 eggs

 Make It!
HEAT oven to 325°F
MIX crumbs, 3 Tbsp. sugar and butter; press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan.
BEAT cream cheese. 1 cup sugar and vanilla with mixer until well blended.
Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each just until blended. Pour over crust.

BAKE 55 min. or until center is almost set. Loosen cake from rim of pan; cool before removing rim. Refrigerate 4 hours

I just can't believe how fast time goes by.
It was just yesterday that we were planning our lives together
talking about growing old together
Him first, of coursehehe

I hope that all of your wishes come true!

Happy Birthday!

Saturday, we spent the morning making a mouth watering blue berry pie

Pretty Enough to Eat
Blueberry Pie

The photos will show the exact recipe'.

Surprise!

( just follow the clay baking instructions.
coat with a varnish and top with cinnamon)

Now, I have a beautiful pie that will not end up not so pretty on my hips.

...And tonight
Selfie Spoonful was busy
baking, frosting and decorating cupcakes
for her Art Club Finale party
at school tomorrow.

 She did a great job!

Have a great week Y'all!
